What is this? 

Truecaller rewards is as the name suggests a rewards program that we are introducing in selected markets. 

 

The idea behind Truecaller rewards is to give something back to you as a user while also nudging you to try out some features of the app that everyone might not be aware of.  Truecaller rewards will let you earn rewards points for doing things that improves the community ex suggesting names on incoming unknown calls or answering questions on the detailsview of the screen that’s shown after a call has ended. 

 

The rewards program also lets you earn points when completing specific actions in the app, it could be as easy as checking out the block settings page or making sure you have a profile image in your profile. 

The best thing is that once you earn enough points you will level up and of course receive a reward for your efforts. The rewards we will be giving out are samples of what is included in our premium membership, meaning that you will be getting the benefits of premium without having to pay for it. 
 

Why are we doing this? 
Well we want to promote good behavior in the app, “help each other” is one the values we at Truecaller live by in our daily work and we  think the same should be applicable for our user base. Help other users understand who is calling and it's a win-win for everyone.  We also want to use the rewards program to ensure that users get the best experience out of Truecaller. This means that permissions the app needs to do its work properly needs to be enabled, block settings need to be set up in order to catch as many spammers as possible. Some things are just there to explore for the user, ex have you tried our SMS inbox cleaner? 

 

We hope that you will enjoy the rewards program and the rewards you will receive. As always feedback on this is something we really want to hear about. What do you like? What can be changed?

Where will the rewards program be available? 

At the start we will be anabeling it in selective markets and roll out percentages. This is done to ensure that we can deliver the best possible experience and be able to collect feedback from our users on what is working and what we can do better. 

As a start the rewards program will be available in: 

• India 
• Nigeria 
• Colombia 
• USA 
• Sweden 

 

Reward levels
There will be 4 different rewards levels a user can reach. Each level is accompanied by a reward the user will receive. 

 

What are the rewards
The rewards will consist of different “samples” of what is included in the premium subscription. Ex experience Truecaller without Ad’s for free. 

 

How do i join
It's simple, just click on your avatar in the search bar and on the userpage find the button for “Rewards program”. 

 

Available on iOS?

No, for now its only available for Android users. 

 

How do i report feedback
Feedback is super important for us in order to create a fun and exciting experience for you as a user. If you come across something that isn't working or you think we could do better you can submit this either by going to the “Send feedback” option in the 3 dot menu in the rewards program screen, answering a survey we ask all users to take that participates(you will earn points for this ) or just write here on the forum about your thoughts. 

 

I'm a premium user - where is the rewards program?
The rewards program is only available for non premium users at the moment.

I am writing to express my disappointment regarding the recent removal of the Truecaller Rewards program. A few days ago, I had accumulated around 1500 reward points with the expectation of using them to redeem a premium subscription, as advertised. However, to my dismay, the rewards option suddenly disappeared from the app after two-three days. I was unable to utilize my earned points and felt deceived by this abrupt change. I request a clarification on why the rewards program was discontinued and what happened to the points I had accumulated. I believe it is unfair to revoke a feature that was actively promoted and encouraged users to participate in. I'm from Bangladesh.

مرحبًا، من المفترض أن يكون متاحًا مرة أخرى للجميع في مصر. انقر على أيقونة المستخدم، ثم يجب أن يظهر زر للمكافآت أسفل قسم "تعديل الملف الشخصي".

إذا لم تجد أي شيء، فأرسل لي رسالة مباشرة مع لقطة شاشة.

We are running this as a test, if people like it we will scale it up and include iPhone as well. But since most of our users are on Android it made sense to start the test there.

كيف يمكنني الانضمام
؟ الأمر بسيط، فقط انقر فوق الصورة الرمزية الخاصة بك في شريط البحث وعلى صفحة المستخدم ابحث عن زر "برنامج المكافآت". 

 

متاح على iOS؟

لا، في الوقت الحالي متاح فقط لمستخدمي Android. 

 

كيف أبلغ عن التعليقات؟
التعليقات مهمة للغاية بالنسبة لنا من أجل خلق تجربة ممتعة ومثيرة لك كمستخدم. إذا صادفت شيئًا لا يعمل أو كنت تعتقد أنه يمكننا القيام بعمل أفضل، فيمكنك إرسال هذا إما بالانتقال إلى خيار "إرسال التعليقات" في قائمة النقاط الثلاث في شاشة برنامج المكافآت، أو الإجابة على الاستبيان الذي نطلب من جميع المستخدمين المشاركة فيه (ستكسب نقاطًا مقابل هذا) أو فقط اكتب هنا في المنتدى عن أفكارك .
