The need to answer one simple question—'Who's calling?'—is why Truecaller was built.To solve this, they created the first version of the app. From its humble beginnings on early phones like Symbian, the response was incredible. After being shared on an online forum, it was downloaded over 100,000 times in just one week! This proved it was a universal challenge that needed a solution, and our journey to the modern app stores began.Today, that initial spark has become a powerful, collective shield fueled by your contributions. So, this July, as we celebrate 16 incredible years, we're really celebrating YOU.
