Let’s dive right in! The Protect Tab is located next to the Home Tab and is your go-to for handling unwanted calls and messages. It’s super simple to use, effective, and helps keep your phone clutter-free!

 

What’s In the Protect Tab?
Truecaller’s Protect Tab helps block spam calls and messages using a global spam database. Here’s what you can find:

 

Calls

• Spam List Updates: Keep your spam list updated to block more unwanted calls. You can either update it manually or upgrade to premium, where the list updates automatically.
• Live Caller ID: Easily get info about unknown callers with Truecaller and Siri. Just say “Hey Siri, search Truecaller” when you get a call from an unknown number, and Siri will quickly show you who’s calling.*
• Auto Block: Choose to block only top spammers or all spammers to stay protected at all times.*
• Block List: View all the numbers you’ve blocked or reported under this section.

SMS
With Truecaller's filtering feature enabled, any SMS you receive from a business or non-business sender, except contacts or iMessages, will be categorized as Safe or SMS junk based on previous reports by the Truecaller community. 

 

 

Tips to Get the Best Out of the Protect Tab:

• Keep Truecaller updated to enjoy the latest features and the best spam protection.
• Report any suspicious calls or messages that aren’t flagged to help protect yourself and the community.
• If you're not a premium user, remember to regularly update the spam list manually.

It's amazing 

It is USELESS cuz I can’t import my HUGE blocked list from iMessage or iPhone. At least I can’t find a way to do it
