Community Guidelines

 

Welcome to TRUETALKS, the official Truecaller Community! To create a positive, productive, and secure environment for all members, we ask that you follow these guidelines. These guidelines apply to all types of content in the community and form an integral part of our terms of service. Please note that any content you publish on the community, including your user name, will be visible for others, as well as for Truecaller. 

1. Respect and Kindness

  • Be Respectful: Treat every member with respect, kindness, and empathy. Embrace differing opinions and perspectives.

  • No Harassment or Bullying: Any form of harassment, bullying, or intimidation is strictly prohibited, including personal attacks, disrespectful language, and discrimination.

  • No Illegal Activities: Engaging in or promoting illegal activities is strictly forbidden and will result in immediate account suspension.

2. Constructive Conversations

  • Stay On Topic: Keep contributions relevant to Truecaller and the topic of discussion.

  • Constructive Feedback: Provide criticism in a constructive manner, focusing on insights and improvements rather than faults.

  • Avoid Spamming: Stay away from posting repetitive content that does not contribute to the community discussions. Do not post unsolicited advertising, promotional materials, or any other forms of solicitation.

3. Privacy and Safety

  • No Personal Information: Be mindful of your own, as well as others' privacy and personal data. Do not share your own or any one else’s personal contact details publicly within the community, such as phone numbers, email addresses, or home addresses. 

  • Respect Privacy: Do not post private information about others, including your own or any one else’s sensitive personal information.  

  • Reporting Concerns: Report any behavior that violates these guidelines to the community moderators.

4. Account Responsibility

  • Account Security: You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your password and account. You agree to immediately notify the administrators of any unauthorized use of your account.

  • One Account Per User: Each member is allowed one account only. Duplicate accounts are strictly prohibited and will result in the immediate banning of all related accounts.

5. Intellectual Property and Legality

  • Respect intellectual property laws: Respect copyright and other intellectual property rights. Only post content that you own or have explicit permission to use.

  • Legal Compliance: Follow all applicable laws and regulations and do not  engage in or encourage illegal activities.

5. Use of Truecaller-Related Content

  • Product Feedback: Provide feedback on Truecaller features and services constructively and respectfully.

  • Confidentiality: If you have access to pre-release features, beta programs, or confidential information, respect the confidentiality agreement and avoid public disclosure.

6. Moderation and Enforcement

  • Moderation: Community moderators ensure compliance with these guidelines and have the authority to remove, move or edit content or restrict, ban or delete access for violating members for any reason, at any time. 

  • Accountability: Members who consistently or seriously violate these guidelines risk suspension or permanent banning from the community.

  • Breach of terms: Breach of these guidelines constitutes a breach of our terms.  

By following these guidelines, you help maintain a respectful, informative, and enjoyable environment for everyone in TRUETALKS. We thank you for being a part of this community and for contributing to a positive experience for all involved.
