How to Register for Fraud Insurance?

Registration is super easy for both Android and iOS users. Just a few clicks, and you’ll be insured against scammers:

  • Open the app.
  • Tap on the Premium Tab 
  • If you’re not on the Yearly Premium Plan, then upgrade to it.
  • From the Premium tab, select Fraud Insurance and follow the steps.

 

Important Points to Remember

  • No Extra Fees: No additional fees or documents are required to register.
  • Eligibility: Indian residents aged 18 or older, including foreigners with an Indian phone number, as well as Indian residents traveling abroad for a short duration, can register.
  • Automatic Renewal: Your insurance is linked to your subscription so it will renew automatically along with your subscription.
  • Support: For any insurance-related queries, visit the self-help portal of our insurance partner through the “Fraud Insurance” card on the Premium screen.
  • Digital theft of funds is covered under HDFC ERGO cyber sachet insurance.

This feature is spammy. Ends up giving our contacts to HDFC Ergo who is among the top spammers.

      How do Call Alerts Work?

      With the Call Alert feature, you can set your phone to silent if you want to ignore a call or move to a quieter place if you need to answer it. This feature uses Data/Wi-Fi to securely send an alert from the caller's phone to yours as soon as the call is made. Available only on Android.
       

       
      Steps to Enable Call Alerts On Android:
      Head over to the Truecaller app Go to Call Settings Under notifications Toggle on Call alert notifications
       
      For IOS:
      Enable push notifications for Truecaller on your iOS device settings to use Call Alert: 
      Go to Settings > Notifications > Truecaller > Toggle on the Sounds and Badges.
       
      Note: Call alerts only work for calls from Android devices with Truecaller installed. Calls from iOS devices won't trigger a Call alert.
       
      Fun Facts About this Feature
      Call alerts work only when a Truecaller user calls you. As Data/Wi-Fi is faster than a regular cellular network, the notification reaches you first, before an actual call comes through.
