Google has officially unveiled its latest innovation, the Pixel 9 Pro Fold, a foldable smartphone that pushes the boundaries of mobile technology. Combining sleek design, advanced AI capabilities, and an impressive camera system, this device is set to redefine user expectations for foldable phones.

Design and Display

The Pixel 9 Pro Fold is Google's thinnest foldable yet, featuring a robust, fluid-friction hinge that allows the device to open fully flat with ease. The 8-inch Super Actua Flex display is the largest and brightest ever on a Pixel, boasting 80% more brightness than its predecessor. With its scratch-resistant Corning Gorilla Glass Victus 2 and an IPX8 water resistance rating, the Pixel 9 Pro Fold is built to withstand daily wear and tear while maintaining its sleek, modern aesthetic.

Performance and AI Integration

Under the hood, the Pixel 9 Pro Fold is powered by Google's new Tensor G4 chip, delivering significant improvements in performance and energy efficiency. This next-generation processor enables a seamless user experience, particularly with the device's enhanced AI features. Google has integrated its AI advancements into the foldable form factor, allowing for multitasking with Split Screen, Dual Screen Google Meet sessions, and the use of AI-driven tools like Magic Editor and Video Boost.

Camera and Photography

Google has equipped the Pixel 9 Pro Fold with an advanced triple rear camera system, including a new ultrawide lens with Macro Focus capability. The front cameras now support Face Unlock in both folded and unfolded modes. One of the standout features is "Made You Look," a new addition aimed at parents, which displays an animation on the outer screen to capture children's attention for photos.

Entertainment and Gaming

For entertainment lovers, the Pixel 9 Pro Fold offers a larger screen size and updated aspect ratios, making it ideal for streaming and gaming. Google has partnered with game developers to optimize experiences for the foldable format, ensuring that games like Asphalt Unite and Disney Speedstorm shine on this platform.

Availability and Pricing

The Pixel 9 Pro Fold is available for pre-order in two colors, Porcelain and Obsidian, and will be released on September 4, 2024. As Google continues to push the envelope with its foldable devices, the Pixel 9 Pro Fold stands out as a powerful, versatile, and user-friendly smartphone that combines cutting-edge technology with the convenience of a foldable design.

Identifying someone you know is about to call. Thanks to Truecaller’s Call Alerts feature, you won’t be the person everyone dreads at the cinema.

      How do Call Alerts Work?

With the Call Alert feature, you can set your phone to silent if you want to ignore a call or move to a quieter place if you need to answer it. This feature uses Data/Wi-Fi to securely send an alert from the caller's phone to yours as soon as the call is made. Available only on Android.

Steps to Enable Call Alerts On Android:
Head over to the Truecaller app Go to Call Settings Under notifications Toggle on Call alert notifications

      For IOS:
Enable push notifications for Truecaller on your iOS device settings to use Call Alert:
Go to Settings > Notifications > Truecaller > Toggle on the Sounds and Badges.

Note: Call alerts only work for calls from Android devices with Truecaller installed. Calls from iOS devices won't trigger a Call alert.

      Fun Facts About this Feature
Call alerts work only when a Truecaller user calls you. As Data/Wi-Fi is faster than a regular cellular network, the notification reaches you first, before an actual call comes through. Call alerts would require notification permission to work seamlessly on the app. Download Truecaller: https://tc.onelink.me/571208033/1fqyddvr
