Hello Truecaller Community,

 

I have a question about updating my number in the app. If I change my number, what steps must I follow to update my new number in the app?

 

I currently have a verified badge on my existing number, and I’d like to know if it’s possible to retain that verification if I switch to a new number. I’ve worked hard to build my profile and would love to keep that recognition.

 

Any guidance or tips would be greatly appreciated!

Hey! To update your number in Truecaller, for Android devices, click on the profile icon > Complete profile > tap on your number and press 'Continue.' However, the verification badge is linked to your current number, so when you switch to a new one, it won't transfer automatically. You'll need to verify your new number separately.
