Alcancé a a hacer 2 retiros, y ahí vino mi error...

Screenshot_2024_0520_110943.thumb.png.f784a1656881d50df6e52115032f2119.png

What about Sex Blackmailing scams ? On video call a girl removes her cloths, real or pre-recorded video.  Then money demand call. I deny to pay. Then a fake Intelligence Bureau officer will call.
I just go on blocking the numbers. Anything better to do ?

My daughter's marriage was last week. Before then, she got a call from an unknown number, telling her that the date they fixed for the marriage cannot work because there would be a very important function that day. The caller said it can only work if the husband to be, paid them a certain amount of money,so they could settle the enforcement group. I requested for the number. When i called it, Truecaller identified it a spam. I then asked her to block the number.

If you're looking for information on how to identify spam and scams, there are a few key things to watch out for.

1. Be cautious of unsolicited emails or messages asking for personal information or financial details.

2. Check the sender's email address or phone number - scammers often use generic addresses or numbers.

3. Look out for spelling and grammar mistakes in the message, as this can be a red flag.

4. Avoid clicking on suspicious links or downloading attachments from unknown sources.

5. Research any company or organization before providing any sensitive information.

For more detailed tips and resources on identifying spam and scams, you can visit the website of **Federal Trade Commission (FTC)** at www.ftc.gov.

Is there anything specific you'd like help with regarding spam and scam identification?

For some reason, people like to try to scam me. I get them on Instagram, WhatsApp, and through regular SMS.

One of my favorite ones is when I'm offered a new job! These scams are easy to spot as they always reach out from companies with long weird names. So I turn my scam mode on.

I have some amazing titles nowadays thanks to this.

Listen to this: Merchandise Maintainer. My job purpose: To maintain the products of merchants on major online shopping platforms.

I always play along with the scammer, having long conversations, telling them the links don't work, negotiating for a salary increase, a promotion, or stocks in the company. After a while, they get frustrated and stop responding. I see it as me keeping them busy from scamming someone else.

    • Know Who’s Calling Even Before Your Phone Rings With Call Alerts!!
Identifying someone you know is about to call. Thanks to Truecaller’s Call Alerts feature, you won’t be the person everyone dreads at the cinema.

      How do Call Alerts Work?

With the Call Alert feature, you can set your phone to silent if you want to ignore a call or move to a quieter place if you need to answer it. This feature uses Data/Wi-Fi to securely send an alert from the caller's phone to yours as soon as the call is made. Available only on Android.

Steps to Enable Call Alerts On Android:
Head over to the Truecaller app Go to Call Settings Under notifications Toggle on Call alert notifications

      For IOS:
Enable push notifications for Truecaller on your iOS device settings to use Call Alert:
Go to Settings > Notifications > Truecaller > Toggle on the Sounds and Badges.

Note: Call alerts only work for calls from Android devices with Truecaller installed. Calls from iOS devices won't trigger a Call alert.

      Fun Facts About this Feature
Call alerts work only when a Truecaller user calls you. As Data/Wi-Fi is faster than a regular cellular network, the notification reaches you first, before an actual call comes through. Call alerts would require notification permission to work seamlessly on the app. Download Truecaller: https://tc.onelink.me/571208033/1fqyddvr

Enjoy every moment with Truecaller and give Call Alerts a try!! We would love to hear from you.
