Brandon Bliss

Question

I have the app installed on my iphone. I have all permissions and everything is enabled. However, my phone is not screening nor is the digital assistant checking on incoming calls. I have done all troubleshooting steps given by support and online with no resolution

I appreciate everyone’s response. I was finally able to get the assistant to work adj register correctly.. I deleted the Truecaller app akd all data,  redownloaded it. I also turned off the live voicemail as others had suggested and WiFi. I completed the setup and did my phone number  as new with same phone number I’ve been using. I also setup the digital assistant manually by calling *90 +1 (559) 533-5694 instead of *71 +1 (559) 533-5694,   I have Verizon and this registration go it all set up and the assistant working correctly again. Thanks again for everyone’s input and help. It was crazy having it show as active but not working for some time.

Hey Brandon! This shouldn't be happening. Could you please check and confirm if you have disabled the Voicemail option for your profile? If not, please disable the voicemail option. You can refer to the screenshot attached below on how to do it.

I appreciate your help. I have not, but will try to disable the live voicemail to see if this helps the assistant work. Right now it’s not screening or taking any messages

Just to let Truecaller know. I did disable my "Live voicemail" and the issues persist. I have not had any calls screened nor taken by the Truecaller assistant over 2 months. I have tried every troubleshooting step I have been given by Truecaller. I have no idea what else to do, I have deleted and redownloaded the app,. removed any and all data from iphone, etc. I cannot get the assistant to screen any calls ,send to Truecalled viocemail,  or do what it is suppose to do for premium service

I had the same problem with IOS phone (USA) and Consumer Cellular.

I deactivated the TrueCaller assistant,  and turned-off "Live voicemail", and WIFI  and tried to re-activate the assistant but it failed the activation process.   I simply tried to reactivate the assistant a 2nd time and it was successful!

I turned WIFI back on and everything appears to be back to normal.  😄

    • Know Who’s Calling Even Before Your Phone Rings With Call Alerts!!
Identifying someone you know is about to call. Thanks to Truecaller’s Call Alerts feature, you won’t be the person everyone dreads at the cinema.

      How do Call Alerts Work?

With the Call Alert feature, you can set your phone to silent if you want to ignore a call or move to a quieter place if you need to answer it. This feature uses Data/Wi-Fi to securely send an alert from the caller's phone to yours as soon as the call is made. Available only on Android.

Steps to Enable Call Alerts On Android:
Head over to the Truecaller app Go to Call Settings Under notifications Toggle on Call alert notifications

      For IOS:
Enable push notifications for Truecaller on your iOS device settings to use Call Alert:
Go to Settings > Notifications > Truecaller > Toggle on the Sounds and Badges.

Note: Call alerts only work for calls from Android devices with Truecaller installed. Calls from iOS devices won't trigger a Call alert.

      Fun Facts About this Feature
Call alerts work only when a Truecaller user calls you. As Data/Wi-Fi is faster than a regular cellular network, the notification reaches you first, before an actual call comes through. Call alerts would require notification permission to work seamlessly on the app. Download Truecaller: https://tc.onelink.me/571208033/1fqyddvr

Enjoy every moment with Truecaller and give Call Alerts a try!! We would love to hear from you.
