Hi TrueTalks Community,

We’ve heard that the Indian government’s cyber agency has alerted iOS users about a "transnational scam" that tricks people into clicking suspicious links on iMessage.

How the Scam Operates?

Scammers target IOS users by sending them fake iMessages claiming that a wrong address is holding up a courier or delivery. The message instructs users to click a link to update their address. It even pressures recipients to respond within 24 hours.

Clicking on this link could turn fatal as it will redirect you to a fake website or prompt you to download harmful files that could jeopardize your security.

How to Stay Safe:

  • Avoid clicking on any links from unknown message senders.
  • Don’t share personal information or download files from suspicious messages.
  • If you get such messages, report them to the right authorities.
  • Use Truecaller to look up suspicious numbers for more information.

Scams will keep changing, and we need to keep up by staying informed and alert. Let Truecaller help you stay scam-free. Download now: https://tc.onelink.me/571208033/1fqyddvr
