Xiaomi teases Redmi A4 5G with Snapdragon 4S Gen 2

Xiaomi showcased its Redmi A4 5G smartphone at the Indian Mobile Congress 2024, powered by the Snapdragon 4s Gen 2 Mobile Platform. This device is set to redefine the entry-level smartphone experience in India by offering enhanced 5G connectivity to millions. 

 

The Snapdragon 4s Gen 2 chip, built on a 4nm process, delivers improved performance, support for up to 90fps FHD+ displays, dual 12-bit ISP camera support, Gigabit 5G connectivity, and Dual-frequency GNSS. While specific details were not disclosed, the phone features a 50MP rear camera, a secondary camera, and a 3.5mm audio jack. Xiaomi and Qualcomm aim to make gigabit-fast connectivity accessible to millions of Indians with the Redmi A4 5G, which will launch in India soon at a price below Rs. 10,000 or around the 100 USD mark
