How to Resolve Caller ID Issues on Common Android Models - Part 1

Facing an issue with Truecaller Caller ID on your Android phone? We've got you covered! We've put together an easy-to-follow guide to help you fix this issue on popular Android models. Let's sort it out together!

Xiaomi/Redmi

Battery Optimisation Settings:

• Go to Phone Settings > Select the "Battery" option.
• Tap on "App Battery Saver" or a similar option > Select Truecaller from the list of apps.
• Set the Battery Saver for Truecaller to "No restrictions" or a similar option.

   

Enable "Display over other Apps":

 

• Go to Phone Settings > Select "Privacy Protection” > Tap on "Special Permissions."
• Select "Display over other apps” > Select Truecaller from the list of apps > Toggle on “Allow display over other apps.”

  

 

Oneplus/Oppo/Real Me (Android 13):

Battery Optimisation Settings:

• Go to Phone Settings > Select Battery > Go to Battery Usage > Select Truecaller from the list of apps.
• Enable “Allow Foreground and Background activity.” option.

  
 

Enable "Display over other Apps":

• Settings > Apps > App management > Truecaller > Allow the "Display over other apps" permission.
